Trailhead Members Club
A beautiful 12,000-square-foot multi-purpose facility featuring 20 foot ceilings and upscale craftsman style architecture, with an abundance of exposed wood trusses and stone. Situated high in the foothills, the clubhouse provides a very dramatic and scenic location for those special indoor and outdoor social and community events. Adjacent to the clubhouse you’ll find the state-of-the-art Trailhead Athletic Club & Spa, the Trailhead pool facility, tennis and pickleball courts, and BBQ ramadas and green spaces – perfect for events and family time.
Trailhead Athletic Club
The Fitness and Athletic Club offers residents of the Las Sendas community an opportunity to enhance their health in all aspects of wellness – physical fitness, mental awareness, and social fulfillment. The programs and activities offered at the Athletic Club include orientations and fitness assessments, group fitness classes, personal training, fitness classes and special programs for children, special interest clubs and social gatherings. The fitness center is not included as part of the regular HOA dues, but there are several membership options to fit your needs and budget.
Las Sendas Spa
The Las Sendas Spa provides a selection of services, including custom and seasonal facials, clinical treatments, waxing and tinting services and a variety of specialty massage treatments. Experience a rejuvenating atmosphere with outstanding views and unique treatments as therapists pamper you while enjoying your “Day at the Spa” wellness experience. The Spa is open to the public and is pay per service for both residents and guests.
Swimming Facilities
Las Sendas has two large community swimming facilities that are open to all residents. Both facilities offer similar pools and features.
- The main pool area is located at The Trailhead Members Club, next to the Fitness Center & Spa. The pool has lap lanes for those looking for exercise, as well as an open area for lounging and fun. A large spa is available, as well as a small, shallow pool for the young ones.
- The Boulder Mountain swimming facility is located at the southern end of the community and also provides a heated play pool integrated with a lap pool, separate children’s wading pool, and a relaxing warm spa.
Tennis Centers
The Las Sendas Tennis Centers consist of two upscale separate tennis areas overlooking the city’s vista. The largest tennis center, located at the Boulder Mountain facility, consists of four private courts including a sloped stadium-style court. The smaller tennis center consists of two courts adjacent to the Trailhead Members Club.
Trail Systems
The entire community is integrated by miles of natural desert and hard surface pathways for walking, biking or rollerblading as well as leading you to the recreational and school areas within Las Sendas. Some of the natural desert trails lead you to intimate settings where you may encounter a life-sized statue of an individual who has made an impact on the world—or you could even take a trail to the Tonto National Forest which borders Las Sendas to the north.
Community Parks
Boulder Mountain Park, Sonoran Heights Park and Desert Foothills Park, totaling 28 acres, include extensive amenities such as lighted basketball courts, lighted volleyball courts, large grassy play areas, softball or soccer field for daytime play, play stations and swing areas for children, covered ramadas, barbecue grills, seating areas, bicycle racks, restroom facilities, drinking fountains, as well as walking and biking areas.
Championship Golf
Las Sendas’ semi-private 18-hole Championship Golf Course, designed by the renowned Robert Trent Jones II, integrates the natural landscape and offers a world-class yet challenging and playable golf experience. The pro shop is located adjacent to the restaurant and lounge, which offers indoor/outdoor dining and spectacular views of the Valley below. You can choose casual dining or patio dining, or opt for a an evening of fine dining and chef specials.
